Thank you everybody for completing the online survey. It has been very helpful to the board. The following results have come out of this.
There was a strong indication that a North Island Keuring Clinic is needed. The preferred Keuring location is Taupo for the North Island, and Christchurch for the South Island (to be confirmed still). As many preferred to have a wet weather backup, Taupo Equestrian Centre seemed a logical choice. Information on cost to get runners for the keuring were also requested and we will look into this.
So with these survey results we have the following information available to you:
North Island Keuring
Date: Saturday 23rd March 2019
Venue: NEC Taupo (Taupo Equestrian Centre). Confirmed full use of the indoor facilities.
The survey showed 22 possible entries and several IBOPS for this Keuring.
Further information in regards to the Keuring will be communicated in due time.
Keuring Preparation Clinic
We are pleased to announce Hans Maes has accepted at the board’s request to come to New Zealand from Australia to run a Keuring Preparation Clinic.
CLINIC DATE: Saturday 1st of December 2018
VENUE: Michelle Amery’s property, STABLE 88 in Matakana. Stable 88 is about a 1 hour drive from Auckland airport and we endeavour to organize a carpool.
For those of you that are new members, Hans Maes has recently retired from being President for the ANZFHS, he had that position for many years. He has also taken courses through the KFPS to be able to run these clinics. He currently is in his final year of his 8 year term in the KFPS committee.
On behalf of the board we hope that by giving you plenty of notice you will be able to attend this clinic and we are looking forward to meeting you all. The clinic will be open to full members, social members and the general public.
A Ticket will include: attending the Clinic, (approx. indication, from about 10 am to about 3 or 4 pm), morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. Any travel cost to and from the clinic are your own. Further information in regards to the clinic, ticket pricing/sales/ will be communicated in due time.
