Commencing 1 April 2018, all NZFHS members are able to compete in the NZFHS points accumulator competition. There will be seperate awards for Full Friesians and Partbred Friesians. To enter you must be a current member of the NZFHS.
Grading points are accumulated throughout the year from 1 April to 31 March with prizes for the highest performing combinations. To enter, send copies of your competition results to web@nzfhs by the end of the March 2019.
Dressage
There are two prizes for Level 1 & 2; and Level 3 & above.
Grading points will be awarded on a percentage basis:
- 57.00% to 59.99% = 1 point
- 60.00% to 62.99% = 3 points
- 63.00% to 66.99% = 5 points
- 67.00% upwards = 7 points
In addition % points will be added to the dressage score with the higher grades for each test ridden:
- Level 1 = points earned. Level 2 +2 % points on test (e.g. 62% would increase to 64% and earn 5 points instead of 3 points)
- Level 3 = points earned. Level 4 + 2 % points on test. Level 5 + 4 % points on test. Level 6 + 6 % points on test.
Showing:
Points will be awarded on the following basis:
- 1 point for attending
- 3 points for reserve
- 5 points for champion
