High Points Awards for 2021
We would like to encourage all members to get out to various events or just out and about with their Friesians and to enter the NZFHS HPA (high point award) competition. This is a free competition open to all NZFHS members – help us to grow these awards by entering your horse!
The HPA runs each calendar year (Jan 1st through to Dec 31st). These awards are designed to recognise owners for every discipline or just for fun. We all want to promote the Friesian breed. There are a variety of categories in the HPA competition to suit everyone.

HOY SPONSORSHIP FOR NZFHS MEMBERS
The NZFHS is proud to offer its members a sponsorship opportunity for those competing with their purebred or partbred Friesian horses at the Land Rover Horse of the Year Show 2021.
This new initiative has been developed to assist members with the costs involved in travelling and competing at this prestigious show, and to enhance the promotion of the Friesian breed in New Zealand.
The sponsorship package includes $100 cash and a NZFHS polo shirt. Further, the NZFHS will promote all rider posts on the official Facebook page and encourages riders to tag NZFHS in all social media posts around their show activities.
We hope this initiative will help our members and riders get a step closer to their HOY goals and successfully promote the Friesian breed at our equestrian industry’s most distinguished event.
