The New Zealand Friesian Horse Society will be holding our Friesian Horse Keuring (inspection or judging) on 10th April 2023, starting at 10am!
Location: National Equestrian Centre,114 Rapids Road, Rotokawa, Taupo.
We are excited to welcome all our participants and observers, and would like to extend this welcome to friends, families, and anyone else who would like to come along! Join us for a lovely day out and enjoy watching our beautiful Friesians as they are presented before our KFPS judges hailing all the way from Europe.
The NZFHS is an official representative of the Royal Society “The Friesian Horse Studbook”, KoninklijkeVereniging Het FrieschPaardenStamboek (KFPS), dedicated to preserving, improving, and promoting the Friesian horse with its characteristic exterior, gaits and character.
The Keuring is a fantastic opportunity for lovers of the Friesian horse to present their horses in-hand and/or in a ridden test called the IBOP. The horses will be evaluated according to the KFPS studbook by judges coming from the Netherlands.
This event is family friendly and welcomes the public to come and support our participants and their beautiful horses.
